Today I have some exciting news, I am launching paid subscription to Oz Property Insights at the start of August.
Four months in, this project has reinvigorated my love of writing and helping people to better understand what’s happening in the property market.
Oz Property Insights has effectively become my full-time job and one which I am really passionate about. It’s been so refreshing to be able to be independent and not have the corporate overlords saying you can’t write that or you can’t say that.
Equally, I have to be realistic and spending a lot of my time on this project without an income is not sustainable.
The reason for subscribing to these products which I have detailed below is that this information can save you time and effort and lead to better and more informed conversations within your business and with your clients. If this information leads to one more listing, one more sale, one more mortgage, one more customer or one better decision a year in your business it is a relatively small outlay for that benefit.
So what does going to a paid model look like?
We are going to have two subscription products available with plans to evolve and add to them in the future. I have big plans around what I am doing here.
This is not tax advice but I believe that subscriptions are tax deductible (but please don’t take my word for it, speak to your accountant or try and get your business to pay for it).
The way Substack works is you have to have different pages for different products so there are two pages you can subscribe to, ‘Oz Property Insights’ and Oz Property Insights SYNKO.’
Oz Property Insights (this is the page you are currently subscribed to)
This consists of ‘Monday Market Recap’ which is delivered to your inbox first thing every Monday morning and recaps all of the relevant data and insight released over the previous week with the highlights and what it means for the property market. This subscription is perfect for anyone working in property property sector or associated sectors such as mortgage broking who wants to keep up-to-date with the latest market trends.
An Oz Property Insights subscription also includes our regular updates on the latest data and think-pieces about the Australian property market.
All subscribers also have access to chat where they can ask me questions and I will do my best to answer them.
The cost of an Oz Property Insights subscription will be $15 per month (about the price of three coffees) with a discount for an upfront annual subscription. If you’d like a whole office or business to have access to it we can provide a quote based on the number of email addresses
Oz Property Insights SYNKO (link below)
Oz Property Insights SYNKO is our more in-depth offering which includes our latest product SYNKO ‘Statistics You Need Knowledge Of.’ Updated as new data becomes available
SYNKO is an essential tool for anyone working in property who wants regular and up-to-date economic and market information for their business, but doesn’t have time to source this themselves. The data is updated as close to upon release as possible and SYNKO will shortly be available across individual states and territories as well.
SYNKO is currently delivered on the Oz Property Insights site but it will be shifting to its own site (the site linked above) shortly.
A subscription to Oz Property Insights SYNKO includes a subscription to Oz Property Insights.
The cost of an Oz Property Insights SYNKO subscription is $50 per month with a discount for an upfront annual subscription. If you’d like a whole office or business to have access to it we can provide a quote based on the number of email addresses.
Anything else?
I have big plans to evolve the offering in the future. I want to enhance SYNKO, as there are more paid subscribers I can invest in improvements to this product and add in additional data which isn’t currently freely available.
Over time I intend to add another subscription product which will provide subscribers with access to regular live market update and live Q&A sessions.
I am completely new to the world of running my own business but I am passionate about Australian property and I want to help people to better understand what is happening. I also want people to be able to have much better conversations about the broader economy and property market conditions and I hope that what I am producing allows my subscribers to do that and to have a competitive edge over those that don’t subscribe.
Final thoughts
I am always open to feedback so please let me know if you have any. This business is being built on word of mouth so if you are finding my work valuable and helpful please tell others about it.
If you are working in the property sector and are looking for a keynote presenter or require assistance with data and content those are also services that I offer. You can contact me directly at cameron@kusherconsulting.com.au.
