Home values are on the up and up and affordability is down-down
The latest Home Value Index from Cotality has found that national dwelling values are once again rising and with interest rates on their way down, expect housing to get even more expensive.
Cotality is reporting that in May 25, national dwelling values were +0.5% with capital city values +0.5% and regional values +0.4%. Every capital city and rest of state region of the country recorded an increase in values over the month and only Melbourne and Canberra have recorded declines in values on an annual basis.
